If you want a ROM to work it’s filename has to match the XML entry exactly. For example, it uses XML based “database” files which are placed in folders matching the system names exactly. In reality, though, it has a rigid underlying structure that is a 9/10 on a logical scale. HyperSpin is extremely customizable, and with flexibility comes the burden of many configuration options, etc., which may be overwhelming at first glance.
